Every Wednesday night, our children gather for a fun and engaging time of learning about God’s Word. Through Bible stories, activities, and prayer, kids discover who Jesus is and how much He loves them.
It’s a midweek time filled with laughter, learning, and growing in faith — all in a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels valued and loved.

Kari Layton
director
Kari Layton serves as the Children’s Ministry Director at Mountain Hill Baptist Church. With a heart for children and a passion for helping them grow in their faith, Kari is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where every child feels loved and valued.
Kari has worked in the field of education for several years and brings her classroom experience into her ministry. She strives to make biblical learning engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate, while partnering with families to build strong spiritual foundations that lead to a faith that stands when tested. She holds closely to Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Kari has been married to Grant since 2015, and they are blessed with their daughter, Rylee. She is grateful and honored to serve the Lord alongside an amazing Children’s Ministry team.
